The Kindergarten to Grade 7 Program at Az-Zahraa Islamic Academy offers a robust curriculum that integrates Islamic values with British Columbia’s educational standards. Students engage in a wide range of subjects including ELA, Math, Science, Social Studies, Career Education, PHE, Art, French, Islamic Studies, Quran, and ADST, all tailored to foster academic excellence and moral development. Enhancing Teamwork through House Teams
In addition to a rigorous academic curriculum, our Kindergarten to Grade 7 students at Az-Zahraa Islamic Academy participate in a unique house team system. Students are grouped into four diverse house teams, facilitating interactions across different grade levels. This setup encourages teamwork and collaboration as students engage in various school-wide competitions and projects. The house teams allow students to develop leadership skills and foster a sense of belonging and community, as they take on shared goals and creative challenges together.
