Ways to Give

At Az-Zahraa Islamic Academy, we are committed to providing the highest quality Islamic and academic education in a nurturing environment for our students. We recognize that some families in our community are facing financial challenges that can make covering school tuition for their children difficult. This year alone, we provided over $100,000 in subsidies to our students. To ensure the sustainability and expansion of this vital program, we are reaching out to you for your generous contributions. Your donations will directly impact the lives of many students, ensuring that financial constraints do not hinder their educational journey and growth.

Khums Ijaza

We are pleased to share that Az-Zahraa Islamic Academy Society has received Khums Ijazeh from Ayatullah al-Uzma Sistani, which allows members of our community to contribute their Khums to this noble cause. We are permitted to collect entire Khums while retaining Sahme Imam portion for this purpose and delivering the Sahme Sadaat portion to the Islamic Humanitarian Service. We are also permitted to collect Sahme Imam only. This endorsement is inshallah a blessing and will help us support the education of our children in the community.

E-Transfer

  • We also accept donations via e-transfer using the email address treasurer@azia.ca. Please include your name and any additional information related to your pledge in the e-transfer message or memo field.

In-Person Payment

  • If you would like to make your payment in person or discuss your pledge further, we welcome you to contact accounting office at (236) 516-2394. We would be delighted to assist you with the payment process.

We will provide you with donation receipt for your records and tax purposes.
