Saleem Bhimji

Sheikh Saleem’s journey has been one of dedication to education and community service. After studying at the Northern Alberta Institute of Technology, he and his wife Arifa Hudda pursued Islamic education in Medina, New York, and then in Qom, Iran. Sheikh Saleem immersed himself in nonprofit work upon his return to Canada. He contributed to the Islamic Humanitarian Service in Kitchener, Ontario, and later became the Director of Publications at The World Federation of KSIMC. He then founded Al-Fath Al-Mubin Publications. Over the past decade, he’s created 500+ original Islamic content videos on YouTube, and podcasts, and authored and/or translated around 50 Islamic books into English. He actively supports Shia communities across Canada. He collaborates with the Al-Kisa Foundation and is writing a multi-volume Quran commentary.
